Fracture | Hearts and Minds

Thank you so, SO much to all our friends and family who came to support us and see us race the crazy beast we created. I hope I will get to thank you all individually.. but for now - you know who you are, and you rule.

To all of our fellow competitors - you guys have my utmost respect. Every single team came to win, and the level of skill, originality, humour and genuine craziness on display today was mindblowing. A well worn cliche it may be, but ‘kiwi ingenuity’ is one aspect of our little nation’s culture that I cherish dearly, and the amount of it I saw today was just a thrill to behold.

And lastly - to our Fracture team, and especially to our unbelievably talented new friends at Metal Skills who built this mad machine - today was a day I’ll never forget, and I humbly thank you for it. You guys just pushed the bar higher and higher, and didn’t once settle for anything less. And that thing we made… that’s the proof. It is pure 1000 proof heavy metal radness on four wheels. A true work of (bogan) art. It has been an absolute privilege working alongside you guys.

Ok. In defiance of the obscene amount of caffeine and Red Bull that’s inside of me right now… I think I’m going to sleep for a couple of days.
