You know I'm a dreamer
But my heart's of gold
I had to run away high
So I wouldn't come home low
Just when things went right
Doesn't mean they're always wrong
Just take this song and you'll never feel
Left all alone
Take me to your heart
Feel me in your bones
Just one more night
And I'm comin' off this
Long & winding road
I'm on my way
Home Sweet Home
This grabbed me, and made me think about the absolute must-see doco “The Devil Came on Horseback” about Darfur, and to a certain extent “Blood Diamond”, which although Hollywood-ised, still touches on something the world needs to be made aware of so it can be fucking stopped: African kids being turned into baby killers with AKs. There’s so much craziness happening in Africa, and a lot of despicable motherfuckers recruiting kids to do things that kids shouldn’t even know happen in the world. That shit makes me wild. There’s no death horrible or nasty enough for the people that do that to kids. Grrr.
